Railto beach in Olympic National Park has some wonderful stones and pebbles along with large drift wood. These hikers are headingg north up the neach to better views that I wish we had the time to go up.

I woke up early in the morning on Yale Lake not to far from Mt. Saint Helens. I went out to see if I could get a long exposure. There was a light wind that made small waves which is giving it that look around the rocks in the water.

Surprising I did not spend much time taking photographs while I was in the City if Victoria. It was such a ncie day and to see Washington and the Olympic Mountains on the other side of the water was pretty cool. Lots of nice people in Victoria and my friend that was there gave us a nice tour of the city.

Crater Lake was extremely gorgeous and the water is blue. The water is cold but supposedly really clean. The sky out there is more blue then it is here on the east. I’m not sure if the haze and other things in our sky hamper our view but it just seams clean out there.

What remains near Mt. Saint Helens was probably little compared to what was there before the eruption. There is still new growth that is coming in but this is one of the many dead trees lying in the pumice stone covered hills.
