Great Falls Park is located in Fairfax County in Virginia. It is the great falls of the Potomac River and a sight to see.

I was going through some old photographs on the laptop as I am trying to get better at storing and editing them and found these. In the fall time I try really hard to go out every other evening down in the fan or downtown and shoot fall colors and what not.

Lots of pumpkins out waiting for Halloween to come along…

Thanks for looking…
Hollywood Cemetery is really a wonderful place. It is a large area inside the city and a lot of people enjoy a walk thorough as it winds and turns throughout. This mausoleum stands next to the edge of the hill that over looks the James River and in the distance the skyline of the city.

My girlfriend is a baker and pastry chef and loves all things bakery. So I made a bakery tour of the best bakeries in town, my list was 12 by the way, and we set out to hit them all in a day. Horrible idea guys as that will kill your stomach. We ended up taking home things the last few bakeries. We tried a little bit at each one sharing if we had to to save room for the next place.

Great place if you want a biscuit like a above but they started to branch out and make pop tarts which you see below. We didn’t like it as it was mint and tasted like a mint.

Spooky mint pop tart, it was around Halloween.

Some cheesy bread over a Harvest Bread Company…

Enjoying a cup of coffee to get through the day with my Vogitlander Bessa R2 with me…

These were gotten at Sub Rosa which is a great place…need to go again soon…

Proper Pie Company is another really popular place. They have sweet and savor pies and are really enjoyably. There will be a line on the weekends!

Thanks for looking, hope I made you a little hungry…
I’m really glad my girlfriend mentioned the John Day Fossil Beds National Monument in the Central part of Oregon. It was a different land coming from Portland and the mountains. Dry but still wonderful. This is really the first dry place I visited in my life. The heat wasn’t to bad as it was not really humid which I’m use to experiencing in Virginia during the Summer. There were a lot of interesting formations and the Painted Hills were really interesting. There was hardly anyone out there, we had the place to ourselves most of the time.
