Evening Walking

I go out when I can just to walk often whether I am going to shoot or not. Lots to see in the city and the James River Parks are really awesome. This bridge is down there on Brown’s island leading back over the canal. There were some stickers all along it but since then they have removed and repainted over it, I though it gave it character.

Old City Hall

I was out with the photography group in the city January and got this nice long exposure with a bright moon behind some clouds. This is the Old City Hall of Richmond. It is beautiful building and was almost taken down when they needed a new one, thankfully they use it for office space and kept it around.

I was going through some old photographs on the laptop as I am trying to get better at storing and editing them and found these. In the fall time I try really hard to go out every other evening down in the fan or downtown and shoot fall colors and what not.

Bakery Tour

My girlfriend is a baker and pastry chef and loves all things bakery. So I made a bakery tour of the best bakeries in town, my list was 12 by the way, and we set out to hit them all in a day. Horrible idea guys as that will kill your stomach. We ended up taking home things the last few bakeries. We tried a little bit at each one sharing if we had to to save room for the next place.

Great place if you want a biscuit like a above but they started to branch out and make pop tarts which you see below. We didn’t like it as it was mint and tasted like a mint.
