Sunrise in Seattle
I arrived at 4 am by flight in Seattle and was able to stay up for the sunrise at Kerry Park. The sky was clear and seeing Mt. Rainier for the first time like this was pretty breathtaking. There were two other fellow photographers up there with me; a local and some one who had a 10 hr flight that night.

Snoqualmie Falls
Snoqualmie Falls is a popular tourist attraction, that’s for sure. Plenty of people were out there just to drop their eyes on it. Noticeable from the show Twin Peaks, it was only about 30 minutes from Seattle and there were a few stands along the road to with Rainier cherries. I regret not stopping and grabbing some.

View from Rainier
Hiking up to a point on Mt. Rainier was really wonderful. Plenty of snow and plenty of hikers up there on a fantastic day to hike. Was definitely the only person up there with a film camera.

Poster wall at Pike’s Place
Pike’s Place sure is a great open market down by the water in Seattle. There was a wall of gum and a wall of posters that are seen below.
