Love the mountains in the fall, Shenandoah National Park I know I have posted quite a bit about already. I grabbed this picture with my Fuji G690bl and 100mm lens with Kodak Ektar. Medium format isn’t something I shoot all the time but I do enjoy it when I do.

Another year of Cherry Blossoms
The Cherry blossoms were blooming in Richmond starting March 20th and they are now gone from the rain and strong winds that we had after a gorgeous week. I missed the peak bloom this year in Washington D.C.. The tidal basin is wonderful to walk around but this past weekend had a ton of traffic and the crowds there are insane on the weekends unless you get there at sunrise which I hear still has a good number of people. Brown’s Island down by the James River in downtown Richmond has some blossoms and you have the skyline in the backdrop.

Ready to sleight at Bryan Park
The hills over at Bryan Park are pretty popular to sleight on after a good snow. There were tons of people out that walked into the park to ride and I walked in with my sister with a trash can lid that didn’t really work out as well as I thought it would.

Provia Azalea Garen
There was still some color over at the Bryan Park Azalea garden in the winter. I had to get some Provia 400X before they were sold out since I never shot with it before. Loved the colors with it, not as vivid as Veliva but nice. The pond as covered in algae and the fountain was off.

Belle Island 1-20-16
Sometimes the weather opens up in the winter where it isn’t to cold and slightly overcast to enjoy a walk. My girlfriend and i took a short walk over to Belle Island to see what was going on. Surprisingly some people were out in kayak’s.
