People don’t know how to are just really careful about driving in the snow. Broad street in downtown Richmond was covered in snow the day after the storm with nice piles on the sidewalks. My sister walking with me stepped in a culvert hole that was covered but grabbed her in time.
Used a Nikon FM2 and 50mm f1.4 lens.

Cars covered…

A forgotten bike in the snow…

Tall banks of snow in the middle of the road…
The gardens were marvelous in the snow, lucky no one was walking through but at the same time the snow was starting to turn into light rain. I took this on a Fuji G690bl medium format camera.
I really enjoy spring. Winter is going into hiding, flowers and leaves are popping out. The weather turns nicer, slight chill in the morning with nice 70 degree weather around noon. It is great for working outside and also going about the city or anywhere outdoors to enjoy whats out there. The cherry trees at Maymont are really nice and they are view able just inside the gate. There was a nice old weeping cherry tree down by the pond in the Japanese garden but it was cut down this past summer for some reason and they replanted the same type of tree just significantly younger and shorter. Honestly the blossoms are nice in color if you have the nice deep pink flowers, these are white and they look great in monochrome as well.

Upham Brook is a stream/brook that travels through Bryan Park. The rocks were covered in snow which was a different sight then what I am use too.
