Heading to the Lee Bridge to get some sunrise photos but missed it. This was taken on my Canon 7 with the Canon 35mm f2.8 lens on Expired Fuji NP160.

Ginko at Libby Hill
I never noticed that there were Ginko trees at Libby Hill Park until I was there this past fall. They are great trees with lots of yellow and Libby Hill isn’t big but still great views to go for a visit.

Belle Island 1-20-16
Sometimes the weather opens up in the winter where it isn’t to cold and slightly overcast to enjoy a walk. My girlfriend and i took a short walk over to Belle Island to see what was going on. Surprisingly some people were out in kayak’s.

Richmond Snow
Richmond not to long ago had a nice snow that caused road problems but did get me out of work for a day. The snow was beautiful and when it was coming down it was coming down. The city streets were hard to navigate in cars and also a lot of people that park there were blocked in from the plow trucks putting mounds up by the cars.

Petersburg Photowalk
Walking with my photography group we headed to Petersburg which is just south of Richmond VA down I-95. The idea since it has a lot of old structures that we would do black and white. I shot with my X-Pro1 on a Rokinon 12mm f/2 and Fuji 35 f/1.4 lenses.

The Love sign is a Virginia thing, since Virginia is for Lovers!

The 12mm lens with the f/2 is great, fully manual but fun to use an can not wait to use it for landscape photography in the future.

I have to get back to Petersburg again, there was a lot to see.

buildings older then any you would see in Richmond…

Nice ol’ VW Van parked in the snow.

The 12mm really gets a lot and I know there is a 10-24mm f/4 from Fuji but significantly more.

Lots of shadows and there was still snow on the ground from our storm that came through.

Thanks for stopping by!
