Azaleas of Spring

The best thing to look forward to after cherry blossoms is the Azaleas blooming and they stay around for quite aqhile. All the colors bloom at slight different times and gives the blooming a longer run. They were great this year, espceilay at Bryan Park in Richmond. They use to have a spectacular azalea garden but it has declined.

Jefferson Memorial in Blossom

My girlfriend and I went to Washington D.C. during the peak blooming of the cherry trees that were given to us by the Japanese 100 years ago. The flowers are magnificent and lovely to see. The crowds are just unbelevialbe, no privacy just people everywhere.

Spring in Richmond 2015

Spring time is a glorious time of the year. Cherry blossoms are a sure sign of warmer weather and flowers are coming. This is at Brown Island down at the river in the city. Blossoms add a nice back drop and they are easy to get to even so close the the center of the city. Plenty of people out enjoying the weather.

Snow in the Woods

There was quite a bit of snow this winter in the North East this year. We got some and I enjoyed it each time…if it got me out of some work. I took a walk in the woods in a near by park that was deserted as the snow was starting to come down. Everyone was busy getting their milk and bread at the store.
