Kyoto Gion

My trip was now a few month back and I already miss Kyoto. I have spent a little over a month worth of time in that city and it is never enough. I would go again anytime and if I could stay to see all the seasons. Walking around at night is great even if it is a week day Gion is moving about here and there. This entrance to the subway below gave me a good frame for the theater that was lit up in the front.

Have a swing

I went to the Eastern Shore for work yesterday but had my girlfriend ride along since she had the day off. The day was perfect even though I was “sorta” working. Grabbed some seafood and ice cream and went to the beach for awhile.

This was taken while working at a house. They had a lovely swing with English ivy all around the tree!

My office Plant

When I am at the office I have a large room that has widows. I have had the position for about 2 years now and I realize that I still have nothing that is “me” in there. Others have family photos or pictures framed. Other items that they have and enjoy. I have these two plants that were given to me by a co-worker and I like plants. Probably the only thing in there that show me. I really need to add more things like my photography or a corny figure on the desk rather then stacks of files and sticky notes.

Girlfriend and Blossoms

I am pretty certain that I took a lot of pictures of the cherry blossoms this year. They were great and the weather was nice to view them. I took my girlfriend down to the paddle boat pond that is in Byrd park. Paddle boats were still put up probably from winter. Nice cloudy day. I used my Bessa R4M with Ilford FP5 film using the 50mm.

There is my sweet girlfriend enjoying our walk.

The blossoms are lined all the way around this pond. It is pretty nice and should walk around a lot more.

You can always go out there and feed the ducks and geese.

Azaleas of Spring

The best thing to look forward to after cherry blossoms is the Azaleas blooming and they stay around for quite aqhile. All the colors bloom at slight different times and gives the blooming a longer run. They were great this year, espceilay at Bryan Park in Richmond. They use to have a spectacular azalea garden but it has declined.
